The Comal County Senior Citizens Foundation is celebrating its 25th Anniversary serving seniors. During these economic hard times the need to stabilize and remain viable is a top priority for many. The Foundation is proud to continue its vigilance in assuring services are not cut to the seniors in need. We are requesting funds to assist in the stabilization and the growth of the agency as it tries to meet the demand for more hot meals, in-home services and supportive services, transportation, etc. Currently, the Foundation's programs include:

a Nutrition Center providing approximately 300 Home Delivered and Congregate meals five days a week to qualified indigent and elderly residents of Comal County

the only licensed Adult Day Activity and Health Service Center providing nursing services, meals, activities, and transportation services to dependent seniors and disabled adults

Minor Home Repair

an Activity Center with: Fitness Center, Thrift Store, Library, Meeting rooms, Computer Lab,

Money Management Program

Wellness Program In-Home care services

Transportation Services.

Catering Services for meetings and special events.
